Skool affiliate program: two referral systems people often confuse.

Understand the two different referral concepts around Skool: referring new group owners to Skool and enabling members to refer people into your own community.

There are two different referral relationships

Skool platform affiliate: Skool’s Help Center says a user who refers someone who creates a group through their Skool affiliate link earns 40% of Skool’s subscription price. Community member affiliates: a Pro-plan group owner can separately let eligible members earn commissions for referring new members into that specific community.

Those are different systems with different participants and attribution rules. This site uses the first type: our links can refer new Skool group owners to Skool.

Member referrals inside your own group

Skool’s current Help Center says member-affiliate setup is available on the Pro plan, not Hobby. Group owners set the commission percentage, and members can receive a referral link. Owners and admins cannot use the member-referral feature to refer people to their own group.
