What this means for plan choice
At low paid volume, Hobby’s $9 monthly subscription can keep fixed software cost low. As processed revenue increases, Pro’s $99 subscription can become more attractive because the percentage fee is lower on typical transactions. The exact crossover depends on your price points because the fixed $0.30 component applies per transaction and Pro transactions above $900 use a different percentage.
Model your own expected number of transactions and average order value rather than relying on a single universal break-even number.
